Treat Accessibly, hereafter referred to as the “Organization”, is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable data protection and privacy laws. This notice explains how the Organization collects and processes personal and non-personal data collected through our website https://www.treataccessibly.com, hereafter referred to as the “Site”, and through any third parties used by the Site.

The Site was built using the Wix Website Building platform.  Information on how Wix gathers, retains, and protects data will be detailed in the sections below.  For further information please refer to Wix’s Privacy Policy.

Our website utilizes tools provided by Facebook, Inc., including Facebook Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI). Facebook Pixel is a piece of code placed on our website that allows us to track conversions, optimize ad targeting, and remarket to individuals who have visited our site.

The data collected via Facebook Pixel and Conversions API (CAPI) is subject to Facebook's Privacy Policy. We do not have control over the data collected by Facebook, and your interactions with Facebook's services are governed by Facebook's own terms and policies.

Google email (Gmail) is used to communicate information entered on the web form on the "Connect" webpage.  For details on how Google protects your information entered on that form please review Google's Privacy Policy.

Personal data is defined as any information that directly or indirectly identifies or is identifiable to you as a natural person.  Personal data includes information such as your name, address, e-mail, telephone number or IP address.

The Site uses a webform to allow visitors to contact the Organization. This form requires visitors to provide personal information [first name, last name, email address, etc.).  You may also communicate with the Organization by sending us an email using your email software.  Any information, including personal information, provided to the Organization will be used to communicate with you and to fulfil your request.

Minors

The Site is not intended for individuals under the age of 16 though, as we don’t gather personal data pertaining to a visitor’s age, we cannot prevent minors from accessing the Site.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit information via the Site, your information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way.  You can verify this by looking for a lock icon in the address bar of your web browser and looking for "https" at the beginning of the address of each web page.  The connection to the Site is encrypted and authenticated using TLS 1.2, ECDHE_RSA with X25519, and AES_128_GCM.

Any information that is collected and retained by Wix is protected through their processes and procedures documented by their Security articles.  In brief, Wix employs full-time security experts and uses advanced security tools to locate and eliminate security issues.  They also perform regular internal security audits to maintain ISO/PCI security certifications.

Any information gathered by Google Analytics is protected as per their Data privacy and security documentation.

The Site contains links to other websites.  We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of other sites.  All links to other websites will open in a new browser tab and we encourage our Site visitors to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of any other site that collects personally identifiable information.

If you have registered as a Treat Accessibly Halloween Village Home Owner we will share your publicly available information, such as your name and address, with other registered Home Owners on the collaboration areas that we have set-up on our website.

We may also share your personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful requests for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
