NATASHA MACKOW: As a mom, we're so grateful to all of the homes considering this.
SIENA PADULO: Hello, I'm the founder of Treat Accessibly, a movement that makes any home accessible at Halloween for all disabilities easily.
And we invite parents across Canada to register so their kids can join in and support their community and learn about accessible inclusion.
RICH PADULO: It's easy. Once you go to our site and register, you'll get all the information you need to pick up a free lawn sign, set up your home as being accessible, and get all the tips to make it easy and accessible for Halloween night for kids with disabilities in your community.
NATASHA MACKOW: After Halloween night, parents, just submit pictures of your family and your kids treating accessibly, and we'll email you a letter of certification for six volunteer hours.
All we ask is that the youth volunteers help you set up the treat station, treat accessibly, and help you put everything away after Halloween.
SIENA PADULO: Not only do I love treating accessibly, but learning about accessible inclusion has inspired me to become an architectural engineer where I can focus on universal and accessible design.
